Methode Electronics Europe has awarded a major contract to TT ems. A subsidiary of the global electronics manufacturing company TT electronics plc, TT ems has been appointed to manufacture printed circuit board assemblies for Methode’s In-Car Entertainment (ICE), cruise controls and position sensor.
Methode Electronics designs, manufactures and markets ICE, Cruise Controls and Position Sensors for various major Automotive OEMs. The contract with TT ems was awarded by Methode’s facility located in Scotland and will run for the life of the project which is expected to be in common with other automotive products.
Ray Gourley, of TT ems, says: "It is great to be working in partnership with Methode Electronics, particularly as TT ems is the company’s only UK PCB Assembly subcontractor. We are delighted to have been selected for the job!"
