Two new directors for TTems following expansion

Newport, Wales, 18 February 2008 - TTems today announced the promotion of Dave Whippey to manufacturing director and Steve Davies to engineering director at its Rogerstone, South Wales site. They replace Geoff Cambray, who has retired after a distinguished 11 year career with the company as operations director. His role has been split into two following the recent expansion of the TTems Rogerstone site.

Commenting, Andrew Cox, managing director, said, “Our expert and committed team has always been our greatest strength at TTems in Rogerstone, and I am proud that we have been able to find outstanding candidates internally to fill new openings that have arisen in our senior management team. Following the £2 million investment in our facilities, there is the need to split our operations director role into two positions – manufacturing director and engineering director. I congratulate Dave and Steve on their promotion to these new positions, and I am very confident of their ability to make an exceptional contribution in these challenging roles.”

Cox concluded, saying, “At the same time, on behalf of TTems, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Geoff Cambray, who has been our operations director here at Rogerstone for 11 years. He has been instrumental in achieving the high standards and growth that we have enjoyed during this period, and we wish him a long and happy retirement.”

Dave Whippey was previously quality manager and Steve Davies was technical manager. Dave Whippey, recently presented with his 30-year service award, has been in quality management positions since he joined the company under its Apprentice programme. Steve Davies joined as a graduate trainee in 1988, originally with a project management role.

TTems announced its £2 million investment in its Rogerstone site in November. This investment increased the premises from 55000 sq ft (5100 m2) to 89000 sq ft (8300m2), and expanded manufacturing capacity by 25%. The company has also increased headcount by 50 over the last year.
